Thousands of people participated in NSTAR’s Walk for Children’s Hospital Boston, Sunday, June 14, 2009. Forty-seven hundred patients, families, doctors, nurses and friends of the hospital community came out to give back and show their gratitude to Children’s Hospital. A special part of the Walk is our team spirit – in fact over 300 teams signed on to support the hospital’s mission. We had 37 hospital teams representing all areas of the hospital as well a team of over 625 from NSTAR and teams from the Boston Celtics, Walmart, Marriott and Waste Management among many others.
